Under the roof of the Fur & Feather Marquee, rabbits and cavies (guinea pigs) compete to be the champion of their section. Alongside the rabbits and cavies is the poultry display including, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys and even game birds!
Bringing together competitors from all over the UK, the Fur & Feather marquee gives visitors an opportunity to see a vast array of rare and beautiful breeds. Bring the whole family along to have a cuddle with the chicks and cavies.
Cavy (Guinea Pig) Show
The judging of the Cavy Show takes place on the Sunday, with public access to the marquee at all times you can see the judges in action and even have a go at judging yourself by voting for your favourite cavy.
On the Monday you can meet the stars of the Show (the guinea pigs!) and find out more about them from the trade stands.
New for 2021: The Cavy Show will host their first Skinny/Baldwin/Werewolf Show!
If you have a little furry friend and would like to take part please contact Cavy Show organiser, Mrs Claire Mires to enter.
For a number of years the show has held a large Rabbit Show, with classes for many of the hundreds of different breeds of rabbit. Competitors come from all over the South East to take part. The public can watch the judging taking place as well as walk through the marquee and see all the different breeds on display.
Entries to rabbit classes are not online but direct to the Rabbit Show organiser, Mrs Sam Turner who will be happy to give you further details if you would like to take part.
