Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show

Becoming a Member

As a member you have admission to the Show on both days and to the exclusive Members’ Enclosure.  This provides a base to sit in comfort and watch the main ring events from the best viewpoint, have a refreshing drink from the Members’ Bar and enjoy a roast or a cold buffet meal in the restaurant within the tranquillity of the Enclosure.  The Members’ area is the central hub of the Show where friends and neighbours meet up year after year.  From there you can wander out to the four corners of the 120 acre site and see all the excitement.

In addition Life Governors, Governors and Vice Presidents have the added privilege of parking closest to the Members’ Marquee.  Any purchases from the 300+ specialist shops can be easily put in the car.  Vice Presidents have their own car park by Gate 1 while Life Governors and Governors can enjoy ringside parking which provides a wonderful gathering place for a family picnic.  The Edenbridge & Oxted is one of the few Shows remaining to offer this benefit – arrive early to get the better spots!

Which membership package suits best? All include admission on both Show days.

Introduced in 2013 was the LIFE GOVERNOR subscription. This privilege has only been bestowed previously on a select few long-standing officers of the Show and the subscription would make a wonderful gift for a special birthday.

LIFE GOVERNOR - a one-off payment of £4000 gives all the many benefits of an annual Governor's subscription. In addition Life Governors will be provided with a personal parking space for the Show's duration. Life Governors must be Governors, Vice Presidents or members for five years before converting to Life Governor membership, which is strictly non-transferable.

GOVERNOR - The GOVERNOR, on payment of his subscription of £150 will be entitled to:

VICE PRESIDENT - The VICE-PRESIDENT, on payment of his subscription of £125, will be entitled to:

JOINT MEMBERS - The Joint-Member, on payment of his subscription of £75, will be entitled to:

In addition all Members have entry to the exclusive Members' Enclosure, are able to purchase Junior membership and additional guest badges, can obtain reduced entry fees for the Livestock and Horse sections, benefit from the reduced price show insurance scheme and be invited to the annual AGM in May followed by an optional convivial  home-cooked supper and they receive news about the Show.

Whichever membership package suits you, they all share one benefit – a greater sense of involvement with their local community event, one of the oldest agricultural shows in the whole country.

A £10 surcharge will be applied to every classification of membership (per person) after 1st August.  For example, a Governor would pay a £40 surcharge.

Those who want to become a member at the Show will no longer get a refund of their admission fee on the day.

If you would like a membership package you can do this easily online.
