Pigs will be weighed in the presence of the Steward(s) at least one hour before judging and allocated to the appropriate class. A weigh band will be used.
Exhibitors must abide by the Pigs (records, Identification and Movement) Order 2003.
All animals brought to the Show must be individually identified with ear tags. For pigs going straight to slaughter from the Show, the ear tag should either be metal or a slap mark used in addition to plastic tags and exhibitors must bring a Food Chain Certificate with them to the Show.
