Mare, gelding, or stallion (competing stallions must have a red, white and blue ribbon displayed in their tail), 4 years old and over.
CLASS RULES, REGULATIONS & QUALIFIERS
This class is unaffiliated and open to mares, geldings, or stallions (competing stallions must have a red, white and blue ribbon displayed in their tail), 4 years old and over not to have won a total of £100. excluding championship prize money (or equivalent values) in prize money in any Working Hunter class, or more than 5 B.E. Points or £200 B.S. at home or abroad before 1st January in the relevant year. Height of jumps will not exceed 1.00m (3’3”).
Working Hunters may compete ‘Hors Concours’ in Novice Working Hunter classes in the jumping phase only at the discretion of the Show Office but the horse cannot compete in any other Working Hunter classes for the duration of the show. Horses to be ridden by the Judge.
T23 The winner of class 548 will be awarded the Whitmore Working Hunter Cup.
T35 The Old Surrey & Burstow Working Hunter Cup, kindly presented by Sir Derek Greenway will be awarded to the highest placed Novice Working Hunter who has hunted regularly with The Old Surrey, Burstow & West Kent Hunt during the season ending 30th April last. Entry to be accompanied by a qualifying certificate issued by the Senior Master.
