Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show

Equine

New equine classes and improved facilities feature at this year's Show - one of the largest equestrian events in the region.  During last year the organisers canvassed opinions from competitors to understand how to improve the Show for riders, horses and owners.  After discussions with British Showjumping and support from local show centres, an exciting new main ring qualifier from Ring 2 has been introduced :  THE HARWOODS LANDROVER KNOCKOUT.  This qualifies the first eight male and first eight female riders for a knock-out tournament where they will compete two at a time over separate courses simultaneously.  In addition, open classes linked to British Novice, Discovery, Newcomers and Fox hunter classes have been added.  The horse-walk has been extended and all the warm-up areas have been enlarged in the lorry park, Huntworth Main Ring and Ring 2.  Provision has also been made for hard ground with watering and aggravator machinery to be available if required.
