CATTLE
The show is very proud of this section of the show and has one of the largest number of entries not only in the South East but across the country.
Sunday is the Beef cattle and Calf show judging day. The public can watch as the huge commercial cattle are judged, followed by our younger competitors in the Calf Show.
Monday sees the turn of the Dairy Cattle to be judged, and the day culminates with the Grand Cattle parade in the main ring in the afternoon, and the crowning of the champion cow at the show. The public can come and see these magnificent animals being prepared and preened for the showing ring throughout the 2 days.

Again these classes take place throughout the 2 days of the show. Visitors to the show can walk among the sheep pens, and see breeds of sheep from all over the world. We also have a number of rare breeds sheep at the show.
Classes are held for Junior Shepherds, where the shepherds and farmers of the future can show off their skills in preparing and showing off their flock.
